Celebrating Your Normal Hair

I remember when I initially decided to go natural hair. We confided in my friend and she asked me why I wanted to do something like that along with what would I do along with my hair? At that time I wasn't certain what I would do with it, but the appear on her face said she did not approve and it totally disheartened me from perhaps attempting to go all-natural.
