Subaru is known for their technologies oriented performance vehicles. A lot of technological functions have been integrated in most Subaru vehicles over the years and in fact Subaru has been keen to take care of this trend. One of many early technological characteristics in Subaru motor vehicles had been the Engine Management Unit (ECU) also known as Electronic digital Engine Control Module. Some vehicle producers even know it by the label Power-train Control Module (PCM).
