Subaru is known for their engineering oriented performance automobiles. A lot of technological characteristics have been integrated in many Subaru vehicles over the years and actually Subaru has been keen to help keep this trend. One of several early technological characteristics in Subaru motor vehicles has been the Engine Management Unit (ECU) also known as Electric Engine Control Module. Some vehicle producers even know it by the name Power-train Control Module (PCM).
